The Safety Shield is designed for shooters who value quick deployment, modular protection, and field-ready simplicity during suppressed use. Built with the same high-temperature insulation and materials as the Direct Action and Safety Shield Extreme, this model features a four-panel modular design with small vent gaps between each section to promote natural cooling between shot strings or firing stages.

The Safety Shield's unique bungee cord securing system allows for faster installation and removal before or after firing. While this system adds speed and ease of use, it is important to note that the bungee cord is rated to 450°F and may melt or degrade if exposed to suppressor-level temperatures. Always allow the suppressor to cool before removing the cover.

Despite the lower-rated bungee, the safety protection at all suppressor contact points is identical to the Safety Shield Extreme. The same high-temp carbon fiber lining and silica cloth insulation prevent burns, protect slings and gear, and shield users from residual suppressor heat during normal use.
